NEET UG 2025 Registration: Candidates Face Issues
The NEET UG 2025 Registration officially began on 7th February, 2025. The much-awaited event for medical aspirants began with excitement.
Many candidates began their registration and also were able to submit their applications successfully. Though a significant number of candidates have encountered technical glitches/errors and server issues. This has caused distress among the candidates that are eager to complete the application process.

As the registration process started and NTA (National Testing Agency) activated the registration link, many candidates reported that they are facing several technical glitches. Some aspirants even took their concerns on Twitter, expressing their frustration regarding the site crashes and other issues.
Candidates experienced slow loading pages and even website crashes. The website became unresponsive and even took too long to load. This caused distress among students.
Some candidates even complained about facing challenges in the payment process while paying application fee. Candidates reported, that they have received a failed transaction message. Not only this, but a few candidates also reported not receiving the OTP (One-Time Password) required for verification.
Distressed Candidates Tag NTA in their tweets
Candidates have a genuine reason to feel distressed at the time of such situations. With a vast syllabus, preparation, and registration deadline on their mind, candidates tweeted their concerns tagging NTA to fix the issues.
Candidates even expressed their worries regarding missing the deadline if such issues takes place.
Candidates have strongly claimed their frustration saying “Phir Ek Baar NTA Neet Students ki Zindagi Barbaad Karne ko Tyaar Hai.” Which translates to “Once again, NTA is ready to ruin the lives of NEET students.”
This throws light to the NEET 2024 where NTA was not able deliver legitimacy during the NEET examination, which caused uproar among the medical aspirants and their parents.
NTA has not given any Official Response
Since last year NTA has faced many such issues regarding their websites. Even other examinations such as NET (National Eligibility Test) also has faced payment issues. As of now, the NTA has not released any official statement regarding the technical issues faced by candidates.
Though, given the volume of complaints, students are hoping that the concerned authorities will extend the registration deadline. As of now, the deadline is set to 07th March, 2025 till 11:50 PM.
It is a request to NTA to resolve such glitches at the earliest, so candidates can have a smooth registration process. Since NTA (National Testing Agency) has yet to issue an official response regarding the situation, candidates are advised to take necessary precautions to minimize potential problems.
What steps can we take to minimize these errors?
As we wait for NTA’s response, aspiring candidates can follow these steps to ensure a smooth registration process:
- It is advised to avoid registration using a mobile phone. Due to the small screen size, the chances of misclicks and errors are higher. Therefore, candidates should use desktop/laptop while registering and form filling. In case, you do not have a laptop/desktop, kindly visit your nearest cyber centers.
- If the site is taking too long to load, it is better to wait an hour or so and try again to avoid peak traffic.
- Use a reliable browser.
- While filling in the details, please ensure that you are sitting in an area which has strong internet connection.
- Wait for the OTP to arrive. If you don’t receive it within the given time, try again after some time. If the payment has been made and the amount is deducted from your account but not reflected by NTA, wait for 24 hours and then contact the officials for assistance.
