NEET UG 2025: NTA has released a correction window notice
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct the NEET UG 2025 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) on 04th May, 2025 (Sunday). The duration for this examination is of 3 hours, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The examination will be held in pen and paper mode, instead of computer-based test (CBT) (You can read about this here).
This most awaited examination is extremely important for all the students, who aspire to secure admission in good medical institutions across the country. The registration process for NEET UG 2025 began on 07th of February and continued to 07th of March (till 11:50 PM).

Many candidates faced a lot of technical difficulties on the official website while filling their forms. This even lead to frustration and complaints on social media platforms such as Twitter.
According to the information bulletin released earlier, it was mentioned that a correction window would be provided for NEET UG registration process. The NTA has since now opened a correction window, allowing candidates to review and rectify any mistakes in the information they submitted during registration.

The correction window for NEET UG 2025, will open on 09th March, 2025 and continue till 11th March 2025.
How to edit your application form?
To edit/make changes in your application form, follow the below mentioned steps:
- Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA
- Step 2: Log in into your registration form using your ID and password.
- Step 3: Open your NEET UG 2025 application form.
- Step 4: Rectify the details that you have entered and make the necessary changes.
- Step 5: Clive on ‘Save and Submit’ (Do not forget this step).
- Step 6: Download your application form.

Which data can be edited in the NEET UG 2025 form?
Candidates who have previously filled their forms, can edit the details:
- Father’s name, occupation and qualification.
- Mother’s name, occupation and qualification.
- Candidate’s educational details
- State of eligibility
- Number of NEET UG attempts
- Category, Sub-category/PwD status
- Preference regarding examination city/center
- Medium of examination
What else candidates need to know?
Candidates are advised to check their forms very carefully and make the necessary changes. The correction window will only be available till 11th March 2025 (11:50 PM). The National Testing Agency (NTA) has provided this facility for candidates, so that they do not face any challenges in the form and during examination. This will also reduce the risk of getting disqualified. Though this is the last chance candidates will be offered to make the necessary changes. Further extension will not be given by NTA.

Candidates are also supposed to know, that these final changes or corrections will only be applicable after payment of additional fees in case required. If the corrections made by the candidates, affect the fee amount, they will be charged additional fees accordingly.
