NEET UG 2025: NTA Releases an Important Notification Regarding APAAR ID
NTA (The National Testing Agency) has released an important notification regarding NEET UG 2025. The application process now requires candidates to upload their APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) along with their Aadhaar details.

What is an APAAR ID?
The APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry ID) is a unique identifier. It is a 12-digit identity number. The registry simplifies academic records. It will also enhance transparency in the education system.
The UDISE system under the Union Ministry of Education’s School Education Department generates APAAR IDs. This process requires an 11-digit Permanent Education Number (PEN).
